This weekend, Sadie was helping Dan shovel some snow. While she was outside, I asked her to fill a container with snow. Then, we poured maple syrup over it. Sadie loved eating the "old fashioned ice cream".

Nice rosy cheeks. When the sap starts to run, you'll have to take the girls to a maple sugar house. I bet Sadie will love having some syrup right from the evaporator.
Yum! What a great idea to file away for when Jules is a bit bigger, and we actually live somewhere where it snows;) Sadie looks like she's having a blast!

She still talks about when we went and did that together last year! We will definitely have to go back.
