Hi Sadie, I took James to vote for the first time! I won't tell you who he voted for because you probably won't like it. I am very happy he voted though!
I hope you had fun helping Mommy vote. I always loved going with Nana.
Hi Dan, Ann, Sadie and Helena, I'm proud to say everyone in my new lab went and voted today and those who aren't citizens felt strongly enough to go canvass for Obama. Although I don't think they looked as cute with their signs as you Sadie. I voted and now I'm watching the returns come in while I catch up on your blog and study. Great Halloween costumes this year! And I'm glad you're learning about voting so you can go out educate the other kids and that funny guy John that you're Daddy works with who once didn't believe in voting! Greetings from Pittsburgh, Rach
Hi Sadie, Of course honey we voted and you would approve! Although, I was a little miffed at the fact that, here in NYC, I was in the minority amongst my colleagues!! You're the cutest Obama supporter. Cordelia plans to vote for her grandfather and panda bear. Yuliya
Voting with Jack this year was a challenge. We have these wobbly portable voting boxes and you have to fill in all those little circles with a marker. I am pretty sure that I was trying to fill in all those little circles during a 4.0 earthquake (named Jack!) LOL
Put pen to circle, wobble, wobble, "MOM! I cannot see what is going on!", put down pen, move Jack, pick up pen, put pen to little circle, wobble wobble wobble, "MOM! I told you I cannot see what is going on up there!"
We went with our mom and dad to the polls, and they showed us the booths and the markers and how you put the ballots into the machine. Then we got stickers!
We are finally able to get on to comment and are very proud of Ann, Dan and Sadie and of course, Helena for their support of Barack Obama. We are overjoyed that he won and that our girls will have this great president as they grow up. It is wonderful and we hope and believe that he can do a good job with the many challenges he faces. Love, Grandma and Grandpa

I voted and went to PA to canvass! Thus I think I deserve a portrait.

Jenny should have the prize... you can go to our site to see who Samuel and Jonah voted for.
I voted and even Sadie would approve of my vote...hehe. Don't fall on the floor in shock although I still can't believe it myself! Kara

I did my civic duty after work and was pleasantly surprised at the lack of long lines. Thanks for giving me extra motivation to vote.
