Anabel and Sophie gave Sadie this costume that they had grown out of. It even includes a pair of ruby slippers. Sadie loved wearing it this weekend.
Sadie has no idea about the Wizard of Oz since she has not heard that story or, of course, seen the movie, but when I told her that Dorothy was a girl who has a little black dog and carries a basket, that was fun enough for her and she immediately got her little stuffed dog, Zori, and a basket.

Very cute! How soon before you let her watch "The Wizard of Oz"? I think that the wicked witch of the west and those flying monkeys might be a bit too intense for Sadie.

Nope, this isn't her Halloween costume...she saw a costume in a catalogue that she loved, so we ordered it for Halloween. Her daycare does a Halloween visit to a local nursing home so she might wear the Dorothy costume for that and then her other costume for Trick or Treat!
