Sadie and Samuel
Sadie loved meeting her new friend Samuel on Tuesday. She gave him a gentle kiss, looked at him for a while and offered him a pretzel. It looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

With all the excitement -- pretzels, presents, pinot noir -- we forgot to have Sadie and her family sign our little guest book. Maybe next time we see you you can pretend that you're signing it at the hospital. It was so nice of you three to visit Samuel, and to bring such nice gifts for him.
