Turtle Sadie

Turtle Sadie

This shell is pretty big but there were several live turtles which were even bigger. We saw them!

Oh, that is so cool! Madeline was about 1.5 years when we were at the National Zoo, and only really liked the flamingos! DC is definitely a place that I want to make a return trip to!

We had such a terrific time. It was lovely to see Sadie's enthusiasm about the animals and the doorbell circuit and the rocks and minerals and to watch Helena see animals for the first time and hear her say some of their names, such as monkey and gorilla! it was wonderful to be together! Love, Grandma and Grandpa
