Sadie is taking a drawing class at her daycare right now and really enjoys it. One of her regular teachers is also a children's art teacher and is offering a class on Monday afternoons.
It's so interesting to see Sadie learning about drawing. Up until now, she has always liked to draw, but recently, she has been trying look closely and to draw what she sees and has also begun to practice drawing repeated designs and shapes. In the last few days, she produced an amazing picture of a flock of birds (inspired by some birds she saw on TV) and a great drawing of a sled dog (her class at school is studying the Iditarod).

It's so nice to read about Sadie's interests and development. Nana will be excited to hear about the Iditarod drawing. Thanks for stimulating the educational development of Sadie and Helena. You and Dan are doing a great job raising the girls.
