Artist at Work

Sadie really enjoys art activities. She frequently creates projects with paper, scissors, stickers, tape, crayons and markers. Sometimes, on the weekends, I take out special art materials like these finger paints. She had a great time fingerpainting, and also using a plastic spoon and fork to manipulate the paint.

Doesn't she look exactly like Dan when she's concentrating?

Fantastic glimpses of the artist at work and I venture to say not many moms take out paints like that at home . You know, I think she looks alot like you, Annie, with her focus and concentration on her art work, projects and when she listens to conversation or stories . Thanks for sharing all the pictures of Sadie enjoying herself . We love seeing her and can't wait to see you all soon! Sending lots of love to all 3 of you, Mom/ Grandma

Nice to see the little "artist" at work. Like Grandma, I'm not sold that Sadie looks exactly like Dan. I still see a composite of her Mom and Dad in her features. Plus, Sadie didn't inherit her interest in art from Dan. I do recall that Dan's artistic talent didn't dazzle the teachers at Conant School.
