Sadie made her first trip to NYC to visit her Grandma and Grandpa this past weekend. She got to check out The Gates - as we passed under each one, she followed the flowing orange fabric with her eyes (well, for the short time that she was awake). I guess we can say that Sadie is a modern art lover.
She also got to meet her Aunt Lisa and family for the first time, and saw Great-Grandma Bev for the first time since she was one day old. Everyone loved her smiles!
Sadie told me the best part of her trip was when she got to play with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went out on a date. ;-)

along with my "what's the point of valentine's?" comes the question, "what's the point of the gates?" clearly the midwest is sucking all the culture out of this new york girl...
