'Tis the season...
...when parents try their hardest to take an amazing picture of their child for use on holiday cards. We have tried a few photo sessions now and have taken over 200 pictures without getting one that has us totally satisfied. We do have a few that are in contention and we are going to keep trying.
This one is really pretty but didn't end up making the cut.

I'm sad it's not in contention because the colours are fabulous!
We don't even bother trying to do that. It would only end badly for us all! LOL
In general I think your better pictures of Sadie are closer up and when you get down on her level, if that helps at all.
Don't be so hard on yourself. This picture is wonderful. If this didn't make the cut, I can't wait to see the ones that did.
i can completely relate. i'm impressed with your tenacity. we've settled on a rather mediocre picture but at least my hubbie, the twins, and i are all looking at the camera and not blinking. as you can see, our bar is set pretty low. sadie is always smiling and i would think you wouldn't need too many pics to get a great one of her!
