Sadie made this drawing yesterday at school. Can you tell what she was trying to depict?

This is one of my favorites of her recent drawings.

Nellie put on Sadie's hat, Sadie's vest and a shopping bag and headed to the door, declaring "Bye bye!". She's always excited to go out on any sort of errand or excursion.

It reminds me of this one of Sadie, doing the same thing at 23 months old.

1st Ski Lesson

Sadie started ski lessons at Storrs Hill in Lebanon yesterday. It's a 6 week series of classes. She and Dan had a great time.



She's wearing her bike helmet over her hat because they were sold out of ski helmets in her size. The new shipment arrived yesterday afternoon, so now she has a real ski helmet for next week.

One and a half!

Helena is 18 months old today...one and a half!

Happy 2010!

Happy New Year to all. We wish you a year of all good things and much happiness.

Once again, it was New Year's Eve with the "Isaac Family". We went out to an early dinner and then came home, where Nellie and Naomi went to bed, Isaac and Sadie enjoyed a pajama party with a movie and the grown-ups hung out with some nice drinks, etc.

We had our midnight at 8:45, following a countdown on the laptop:
